I am an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist with 12 years of clinical experience. I graduated from West Virginia University with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. I had the opportunity to study under nationally renowned Dennis Ruscello Phd.,CCC-SLP during my time at WVU.
I have worked with individuals all across the country including New England, West Virginia, Atlanta, and South Central Los Angeles. I follow a holistic philosophy and enjoy working closely with family members, school teams, and other service providers to create a collaborative model of support for the individuals I serve. Though I have worked with many populations, my particular area of clinical interest is selective mutism.
I am the Selective Mutism Association (SMA) State Coordinator for NH and ME. I provide a variety of selective mutism services to local schools teams and also work directly with families who have a child(ren) with SM.
I also provide corporate, as well as individual, accent modification training in a group format and one-to-one sessions.
I love working with all ages and have experience working with children ages nine months – 18 years of age and with adults 20 -104 years of age. I am passionate about my field and about helping people to communicate. I feel that the ability to communicate is a beautiful gift and the foundation of human connection.
I am a certified yoga instructor and am also trained in Reiki. I live with my husband, Gary, and our rescue puppy, Quincy, in Newmarket NH. In my free time, I enjoy reading books on mindfulness, alternative medicine, running at Mount Agamenticus, practicing yoga, and watching movies with my husband.
